      HAPHI Family Support Center

       Haphi-Arc Community Inclusion Project 2018-2019

The Haitian Family Support Center is run by the Haitian American Public Health Initiatives (HAPHI), a Haitian-American non-profit organization, located at 1603 Blue Hill Ave, in Mattapan. The Center provides services for individuals with developmental disabilities and/or autism. It's mission is to promote the community inclusion of people with all abilities through education, advocacy, social recreation, and support services. This year, with the support of ARC Massachusetts Becker Trust Funds the Center has developed a community inclusion project for young adults with autism. Activities include participation in leisure, music, arts, sports, and life skills programs in the community in the Greater Boston area. This community inclusion page reflects activities that were conducted during the first half of the project implementation phase (July 1,2018 - December 31,2018) with the support of professionals, families, friends, and community-based organizations.
